I will be explaining the logic of this list one by one and then after that, how they work with each other.

Archon
Agoniser
Haywire Grenade
Ghostplate Armour
Combat Drugs
Phantasm Grenade Launcher
Shadowfield generator

Basically, this is the quintessential Archon, with some added protection. Her role is to basically kill as much as she could in close combat.

Haemonculi
Haemonculus x 2
Liquifier x2

The Haemonculi's role is simple as it does. give pain tokens and flame the little guys.

Kabalite Trueborns
Kabalite truebornx 5
Blaster x 4

Venom with second splintercannon

For the Trueborns, they would be acting as my rapid response unit as the guys within are good to hunt down the big stuff, while the vehicle itself punishes infantry and MCs alike. A good all-rounder unit.

Hekatrix Bloodbrindes
Hekatrii x 9
Shardnet and Impaler x 3
Haywire grenades x 9
Syren with Phantasm Grenade Launcher and Agoniser

Raider with Flickerfield and improved aethersail

The Hekatrii acts as the bodyguards to the Archon, and will be used to lock down hammer units, HQs and Monstrous Creatures. Them being wyches , they will also be in charge of charging into units and making a mess out of things. The haywires are there just in case some foolish opponent tried to send a Walker my way, allowing me to break it apart while suffering very little casualties thanks to the combination of shardnets and impalers with some good o' invul saves.

Wracks
Wracks x 8
liquifier x 1
Acothyst with flesh gauntlet

Raider with flickerfield

These guys served a few functions in my army;

1)Objective holder

2)Anti-infantry killer with secondary anti-MC killer

3)Bodyguards for haemonculi

Kabalite Warriors
Kabalites x 10
blaster x 1
splintercannon x 1
Sybarite with venom blade

Raider with flickerfield and improved aethersail

Kabalites, Kabalites, Kabalites. They are the unit I would rely on to support everyone in their role and making things easier for my entire army as a whole.

Ravager
Ravager with flickerfield

Ravagers are my dedicated anti-tank at range, as well as anti-MCs.

The ideal deployment for my guys is that the archon will actually start up with the wracks and the haemonculi and all of these stated elements stating outside their transports. This will give the squad three pain tokens or more (the only time this will be exceeding three pain tokens is when the Archon rolls a splintermind on the druggie rolls).

Immediately on the first turn, using the 'sharing the pain' rule the archon will pull two pain tokens from the wracks and haemonculis and will embark upon the vehicles in the super wyches vehicle, thereby attaching itself with the squad and zoom off, and the wracks and the haemonculi also will sit into their own transport and run off as well. This will thereby give the super wyches 2 pain tokens to begin with and the wracks and the haemonculi will still have one pain token for themselves.

As for how the army works, it is essentially a very vulture-like tactic. I will basically move circles around my opponent, ever finding a point of weakness to strike and I will try to move around and kill stuff while I am at it. Once opportunity presents itself, I will just go about and the shock troops will engage in a massive gangbang with the particular unfortunate unit. While this is going on, the rest of the army will sow discord to prevent them from countering my guys. It is simpler in words than it is in action, as each army got its own idea of destroying Dark Eldar from range. I know that this army can be countered, but I will be employing unconventional tactics to make that a much more harder prospect for my opponents.

I will be trying to play with this list, and will be improving upon this list to see how this fares out against other armies and hopefully I will be able to learn more about how I want my Dark Eldar to work.

Until the next time we meet.......
